About Renata

WELCOME!

I'd like to share a little about myself so you can get to know me better. 

I was born in the Czech Republic and raised on the coast of Croatia. Growing up, I was exposed to the city of Prague with its iconic bridges, rivers, trolleys, and cobblestone streets—an amazing experience I still cherish. Later, my parents and I moved to the Croatian coast, which offered a completely different perspective on the landscape. I grew up surrounded by islands, red rooftops, and the
incredible blue of the Adriatic Sea; even the short boat rides to school were a wonderful adventure.

A few years later, I moved to Los Angeles to raise my family. While I still had personal passions, I had to set those aside for a while, I channeled my creativity into making various crafts and clothing for my children. Ultimately, raising my family has been the most rewarding experience of my life.

Last few years When my family was grown and had left the nest, I finally picked up pencil and paper and started drawing and painting again. I've been brave enough to show my work in a few exhibits between NYC and Los Angeles. Since I am a self-taught artist, every day is a new adventure in learning.
